Dizziness From Blocked Ear

Dizziness from blocked ear is something that I experience from time to time, you may be experiencing the same if you find that you occasionally feel a tad bit off when walking or getting out of bed.

Really..From A Blocked Ear?

Yes!  Since I have allergic reactions to different allergens to include:

  1. pollen
  2. mold
  3. certain foods, etc.

my body responds by producing an excess amount of mucus.

When this happens, I can experience nasal congestion, stomach pain and/or blocked ears from the mucus that has accumulated.

When one ear is blocked, I find that I experience dizziness due to the mucus.  It's similar to one side being weighted more than the other.  The side that is weighted will lean more to that side.  The same goes when there is a built up of mucus in the ear.

Allergy Symptoms May Be The Culprit

When my body exhibit allergy symptoms from allergens such as pollen, dander, mold, etc, it produces an excess amount of mucus.

The mucus may fill up in my sinuses, stomach and ears.  When it fills up in my ears, one ear may be more affected than the other ultimately causing me to feel off balance or a bit dizzy.

Natural Remedies That Works to Manage My Dizziness From Blocked Ear

When I experience a blocked ear, I reach for my neti pot immediately in order to flush the mucus out.

The great thing about the neti pot is that it can be used as often as needed since it is natural.

I occasionally use a natural nasal spray called Xlear that helps keep the nasal passages clear which ultimately helps keep my ears clear.

To keep my allergy symptoms at bay, I also use a combination of natural supplements to include Opc-3 (a natural anti-inflammatory and antihistamine) , Aloe, Fish Oil, etc.

Can Even Lead To Stomach Pain

With my blocked ear, I also experience stomach pain due to the mucus continuing to drain into my stomach.  Definitely no fun, ugh!

That is why it is so important for me to flush my sinuses as soon as I feel that there is a blockage.

For so long, I would experience this pain and could not figure out the reasoning.   So now when I flush my sinuses, this clears my ears which in return relieves my stomach.

Our bodies are so interconnected.  And when one thing is off, everything else follows suit.
