Treatment for pain when it comes to the ole belly is something that many people are in search of. Depending on the severity of the pain, it can be a scary process especially if physicians cannot pinpoint the cause. Always consult your physician if you are experiencing severe pain. For those who occasionally experience stomach pain, there are ways the pain can be remedied without reaching for the pink stuff.
There are various treatments that can be done at home to ease stomach discomfort. The kiddos and I partake in these treatments so that we don't have to reach for pink stuff.
I absolutely love these. They help break down the proteins in foods so that they can be digested.
I use the powder version. Mix with water, drink and wait for relief.
Digestive enzymes are similar to that product with the tablet. You know...the tablet that you drop into the water and it starts to fizz. Yes, that but much better for the body.
This is an old remedy that I remember when I was kid. Just started back drinking this recently as an adult. So great for digestion especially when taken first thing in the morning prior to the first meal. Honey can definitely be added for flavor!
It is an acquired taste but works like a charm. It's also great when you feel like you're coming down with something. Superb!
Lemon juice has always been great for digestion. Another one of those old wives tale remedies that work.
Simply mix juice from a fresh lemon with 8 oz. of water and drink up prior to your first meal.
Aloe is known for its healing properties especially the ability to soothe the digestive tract.
There are many brands out there but I use the Ultimate Aloe brand. It's certified by the International Aloe Science Council. This means that it gets a grade A for consumption. It comes in liquid or the packets which can be taken on the go, just mix with water.
I take these too! They help align the belly by restoring good bacteria.
Probiotics have to be taken everyday to feel the benefits. I use to take a ton of antibiotics, these are crucial in reversing the adverse effects that antibiotics leave behind.
It's so important because 85% of our immune system is lies within our gut. People that tend to get sick all of the time mostly have something going on with their gut. Our immune system is designed to protect us. If our guts aren't functioning properly, this compromises are immunity.
Finding a treatment for pain whether it is natural or otherwise, is important. Again, always consult your primary care physician.
